Our performance ensemble is known as "Willow Park Ballet Theatre". This dance company seeks to stimulate the growth and development of inventive concepts in dance by producing original choreography for the local community. "WPBT" provides an opportunity for students to develop their performance skills, participate in the choreographic process, and contribute to concert production and company leadership. Auditions are held each fall and open to students ages 7 to 17. The technical demands of the choreography generally necessitate a high intermediate to advanced level of technique.
Willow Park Ballet Theatre performs a spring concert in June of each year. Past performances have included: The Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Swan Lake, Coppelia, La Fille mal Garde, Les Sylphides, A Mid-Summer Night's Dream, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, and the Firebird. Our dance company also performs an annual Holiday Concert in December.
